General Support Specialist – Runner

About the role

The General Support Specialist – Runner ensures that guests and hotel teams receive the items they need, exactly when they need them. Working across multiple departments, you will help create a seamless and memorable experience for every guest at the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver items directly to guest rooms and support housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, front office, and other areas.
• Transport, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 55 lb without assistance.
• Navigate stairs, service ramps and confined spaces safely and efficiently.
• Read and verify information on tickets, labels and small‑print documents.
• Maintain a safe workplace, follow company policies, protect confidentiality and uphold professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior work experience or supervisory experience required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach overhead and lift up to 55 lb.
• Willingness to work on your feet for extended periods.
