Google Cloud Platform Expert (Qatar)

About the role

The organization is seeking a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Expert to lead troubleshooting and incident resolution for a wide range of GCP services in Qatar. The role involves diagnosing complex infrastructure, network, and security issues while coordinating with Google and third‑party vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve incidents across Compute, Network, Storage, IAM, and Kubernetes services.
• Investigate network connectivity, routing, VPN, and related infrastructure problems.
• Troubleshoot security components such as Palo Alto, FortiGate, and FortiWAF.
• Provide technical support for backup/restore and database availability issues.
• Analyze performance degradation and resource availability incidents.
• Escalate and coordinate with Google and OEM partners as needed.
• Document resolutions and produce root‑cause analyses for major or recurring incidents.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to GAC personnel on incident handling and troubleshooting procedures.
