Health Club Receptionist

About the role

The Health Club Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests entering the club. You will ensure a welcoming atmosphere, manage reservations, and support daily administrative tasks while upholding Marriott’s service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and retrieve guest and reservation data using computer systems and point‑of‑sale (POS) software.
• Prepare letters, memos, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation tools.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including date‑stamping and distribution.
• Maintain both electronic and paper filing systems for records and reports.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and respond to guest inquiries.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Operate standard office equipment such as fax machines and printers.
• Follow company policies, maintain a clean professional appearance, and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• Adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Strong communication skills with clear, professional language.
• Team‑oriented mindset and ability to develop positive working relationships.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• General computer literacy for data entry and email handling.
