Housekeeping Supervisor – Lead Cleanliness Operations

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning team, ensure high standards of hygiene, and deliver exceptional guest satisfaction. The role involves overseeing daily housekeeping operations, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff.
• Assign duties and work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, facilities, and common areas.
• Train, coach, and monitor employees to maintain quality performance.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues and coordinate timely resolution with relevant departments.
• Keep records of attendance, inspections, inventory, and housekeeping activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Address customer concerns and resolve housekeeping‑related issues promptly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant certification is a plus.
• 3–5 years of housekeeping experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning methods, and safety practices.
• Proven leadership, communication, and team‑management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Required skills

• Experience with housekeeping reporting systems.
• Proficiency in inventory management software.
• Basic computer skills.
