IT Project Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a professional services organization in Doha to hire an experienced IT Project Manager who will drive the delivery of critical technology initiatives across the business. The role is ideal for candidates who thrive in fast‑paced, regulated environments and have a proven track record managing end‑to‑end project lifecycles within banking, insurance or fintech.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of IT projects, from initiation through implementation and post‑go‑live support.
• Define project scope, timelines, resources and budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Manage stakeholder communication across business units, senior leadership and external partners.
• Identify risks, issues and dependencies and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure and vendor teams to drive execution.
• Track and report project progress, including KPIs, milestones and financials.
• Support change management and user adoption initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of IT project management experience within financial services (banking, insurance or fintech preferred).
• Proven experience delivering complex technology projects such as digital transformation, core systems, payments or data platforms.
