ITS Infrastructure & Asset Manager

About the role

Egis is looking for a detail‑oriented ITS Infrastructure & Asset Manager to join its Doha team. You will act as the bridge between ITS Operations/Technical teams and the Asset Management function, ensuring that data from road and tunnel control centres, communications networks and related systems is captured, analysed and turned into actionable asset strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the asset register for ITS infrastructure, including Road Control Centres (RCC), Tunnel Control Centres (TCC), fiber backbone, switches, transmission systems, SCADA/ATMS platforms, server rooms, power and UPS systems.
• Collect, validate and structure asset and maintenance data in collaboration with core technical experts.
• Develop and maintain asset maintenance strategies, hierarchies and classifications aligned with contract requirements and best practices.
• Analyse maintenance metrics (MTBF, MTTR, availability, failure trends) and translate operational KPIs into asset performance indicators.
• Define condition‑assessment criteria and performance scoring to support risk‑based prioritisation.
• Support lifecycle planning, renewal forecasting and long‑term capital investment planning.
• Identify recurring failures, systemic risks and obsolescence issues, proposing mitigation actions.
• Prepare comprehensive asset performance reports and dashboards for internal and client reporting.
• Ensure data integrity within EAMS systems, validating failure coding and asset tagging.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support audits, contractual compliance reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Systems Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in managing ITS or similar infrastructure assets.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret maintenance data and generate performance insights.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work with technical and operational teams.
