Lead Technical Architect – Martech Architecture

About the role

You will lead the design and delivery of MarTech solutions for a major line of business, shaping the technology roadmap and ensuring robust, scalable, and secure architectures. Working closely with marketing, product and other stakeholders, you will translate business needs into technical blueprints that drive innovation and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a 2‑to‑3‑year MarTech architectural roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Design cloud‑native, secure, and cost‑efficient architectures for personalization, CDP, campaign management and marketing automation.
• Lead technical decisions, champion best practices in microservices, API‑led integration and event‑driven architectures.
• Architect integration strategies using APIs, ETL and data‑streaming to ensure clean, consistent data flows across the MarTech ecosystem.
• Act as primary technical advisor, mentor junior architects and engineers, and foster a collaborative culture.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, performance optimisation and adoption of emerging MarTech technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 12 years of experience architecting and managing e‑commerce/digital‑marketing solutions.
• At least 5 years in product strategy, enterprise architecture or MarTech leadership roles.
• Proven experience with Adobe MarTech products (AEP/CDP, AJO, CJA, Campaign Manager).
