Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure the smooth operation of all building systems at our Doha facility. The role involves a mix of hands‑on repairs, routine inspections, and coordination with other shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Visually inspect equipment, identify issues, and operate shut‑off valves for utilities.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and document daily activities for shift handovers.
• Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repairs.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other guestroom items.
• Program TVs, manage housekeeping‑related inventory, and use Lockout/Tagout procedures before work.
• Maintain interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to safety policies.
• Clear communication skills and teamwork orientation.
