Maximo/EAMS Technician

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Maximo/EAMS Technician to join our Doha team. You will manage and optimise our Enterprise Asset Management System to support efficient maintenance operations and improve asset reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IBM Maximo or a comparable EAMS platform.
• Develop and implement asset management strategies to boost operational efficiency.
• Create and manage work orders, preventive‑maintenance schedules, and asset records.
• Generate reports and analyse data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure accurate, timely data entry.
• Provide technical support and training to end‑users on EAMS functionality.
• Implement system upgrades and enhancements as required.
• Maintain data integrity and monitor database performance.
• Document standard operating procedures for EAMS processes.
• Assist with integration of EAMS with other business systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience working with IBM Maximo or a similar Enterprise Asset Management system.
• Strong understanding of asset management principles and maintenance practices.
• Experience in industrial or facilities‑maintenance environments.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

Required skills

• IBM Maximo (or equivalent EAMS).
• SQL and database management.
• Work order management systems.
• Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
