Munitions Operations Technician

About the role

The Munitions Operations Technician is responsible for managing munitions accountability, inventory, and historical records in compliance with USAF regulations and quality standards. The role involves operating the Theater Integrated Combat Munitions Systems (TICMS) and supporting both peacetime and combat contingency missions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain munitions accountability and inventory actions according to AFMAN 21‑200, DAFMAN 21‑201 and 11A‑1‑10.
• Operate and troubleshoot the Theater Integrated Combat Munitions Systems (TICMS), reporting discrepancies.
• Conduct warehouse inventories, reconcile ADR files, and monitor shelf and service life of stockpile assets.
• Assist personnel with TICMS training and ensure daily system connectivity.
• Process and complete auditable transactions and documentation in a timely manner.
• Coordinate munitions shipments using the Integrated Data Environment (IDE) Global Transportation Network (GTN) Convergence (IGC).
• Observe and enforce USAF and host‑nation explosives safety, AFOSH, and security standards.
• Support entry‑controller duties and stand‑by operations as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate knowledge of USAF Supply and Tech Order systems or equivalent US service system.
• Proficiency with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Valid driver’s license (home‑country and ability to obtain host‑nation license).
