Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager supports the execution of all hotel operations across multiple departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering. Reporting to senior leadership, the role focuses on enhancing guest and employee satisfaction while driving financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the operations team, translating property goals into daily productivity targets and fostering a culture of motivation, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee property‑specific recovery plans, publish guest satisfaction results, and address employee concerns proactively.
• Ensure all guest‑facing areas meet hospitality standards, respond promptly to guest issues, and support the customer service department.
• Review financial statements, sales and activity reports to identify cost‑saving opportunities and support profitability initiatives.
• Conduct HR activities such as interviewing, hiring decisions, and coordinating thorough orientations for new team members.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least four years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related areas; OR a two‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field with two years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage operational functions, and improve guest satisfaction metrics.
