Operations Manager – Restaurants & Catering

About the role

A leading hospitality group in Doha is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to drive performance across multiple restaurants, catering outlets and the group’s events division. Reporting to the General Manager, you will ensure operational excellence, profitability and consistent service standards while preparing the business for future expansion and franchising.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of day‑to‑day operations for several restaurant and catering sites, conducting regular site visits and operational checks.
• Maintain consistent operational standards, service quality and commercial performance across all locations.
• Identify operational weaknesses and implement corrective action plans aligned with company SOPs and brand standards.
• Oversee the catering division, working with the Catering Manager to improve efficiency, logistics and event delivery.
• Develop systems for planning, staffing and execution of catering events, seeking new revenue opportunities.
• Support Restaurant Managers, monitoring revenue, labour, food costs, wastage and overall profitability.
• Collaborate with Finance, Executive Chef and senior leadership to strengthen operational systems and drive profit‑and‑loss performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of experience managing multiple restaurant and catering outlets.
• Proven track record of delivering commercial results and operational excellence in a multi‑site hospitality environment.
• Hands‑on, commercially driven leader comfortable working closely with senior management.
• Ability to develop and mentor management teams and prepare the business for expansion.
