Precast Detailer

About the role

The Precast Detailer is responsible for creating accurate shop drawings and detailed 3D models for precast concrete components, ensuring they meet project specifications, structural requirements, and design standards. This role works closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to support the fabrication and installation of precast elements.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop detailed precast concrete shop drawings.
• Generate 3D models and production drawings for walls, beams, columns, stairs, façades, and other precast components.
• Ensure all precast details comply with industry codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers and fabricators to resolve design or fabrication issues.
• Review and verify shop drawings for accuracy, clarity, and constructability.
• Maintain documentation and track revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with project teams to ensure timely fabrication and delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a precast detailer or in a similar detailing role.
• Strong understanding of precast concrete manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and engineering principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
