Product Development & Design Expert

About the role

ATAAD Trading W.L.L. is seeking a Product Development & Design Expert to lead the creation and launch of innovative military and tactical apparel and technical textile solutions. The role combines strategic product planning, user‑centred design, and cross‑functional project management to deliver high‑quality products that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end product development lifecycle from concept generation through market launch.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and trend forecasting to identify customer needs and translate them into product opportunities.
• Define product requirements, specifications and development road‑maps in collaboration with engineering, marketing, operations and business teams.
• Create user‑centred designs, wireframes, mock‑ups and prototypes, and run user testing to refine usability and functionality.
• Manage project timelines, milestones, budgets and resources while ensuring compliance with technical, regulatory and industry standards.
• Monitor product performance, conduct KPI assessments and support team development and appraisal processes.
• Stay abreast of emerging materials, technologies and market trends, recommending enhancements and driving innovation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, UX/UI Design, Business or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product development, product design or innovation roles.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
