Project Management Engineer

About the role

Saipem is seeking a Project Management Engineer to support the Project Manager in delivering complex oil and gas EPC projects. You will work within the Project Management Department, ensuring projects meet client requirements, schedules, budgets, and HSE/Quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and controlling project execution.
• Manage internal and external interfaces, subcontractor and supplier coordination, and spare‑parts management.
• Review and issue contractual documents, support change order management and claim resolution.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as Risk Management Plans, Risk Registers, Project Record Books and procedural manuals.
• Support procurement activities, invoicing and project close‑out documentation.
• During the bidding phase, analyse tender documents, contribute to the Project Execution Plan, organization charts and cost estimation for external services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related management discipline.
• 7‑10+ years of experience as a Project Management Engineer on oil & gas or EPC projects.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong understanding of project controls, risk management and contractual processes.
