Research Fellow

About the role

The Research Fellow will lead and support research activities on assigned projects, ensuring timely execution and high‑quality outputs. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to design studies, collect and analyse data, and communicate findings through reports and presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise research surveys, methodologies, and fieldwork protocols.
• Collect, record, and analyse quantitative and qualitative data.
• Prepare graphs, tables, and interpret results for publications and presentations.
• Draft and edit research reports, status updates, and peer‑reviewed papers.
• Assist in preparing proposals for external funding agencies.
• Maintain repositories of research topics, records, policies, and related documents.
• Design and manage databases supporting research activities.
• Provide training on research tools to junior researchers, support staff, and graduate students.
• Participate in scientific gatherings, seminars, and conferences.
• Engage with CIS students and support their research projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3–5 years of full‑time research experience with a proven publication record.
• Ability to apply scientific principles and solve complex technical problems.
• Excellent written communication skills; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
