Restaurant Reservations Agent

About the role

The Restaurant Reservations Agent supports the Food & Beverage team by handling guest reservations and providing accurate information about property services and local attractions. This full‑time position works closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience at The Ritz‑Carlton Doha.

Key responsibilities

• Assist other departments as needed to guarantee optimal service for guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Enter and retrieve reservation data using point‑of‑sale systems and computers.
• Communicate with colleagues via pagers, two‑way radios, and email.
• Engage guests in conversation about their stay, services, and local attractions.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, reporting any incidents promptly.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate their needs, and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and handle written documentation accurately.
• Lift, move, or carry objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience in hospitality or a similar customer‑facing role.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 10 lb.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
