Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to join our hotel team in Doha. The role focuses on driving revenue through guest interactions, up‑selling, and promoting the Marriott/Westin brand.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest calls, requests and problems, directing them to the appropriate department.
• Apply sales techniques to maximise revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, including up‑selling and offering complimentary rewards.
• Process Marriott Rewards points, reservations, changes and cancellations via phone, fax or email.
• Enter guest and rewards information into the hotel reservation system accurately.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, emailing, typing and faxing to support the Sales & Marketing team.
• Assist management with employee training and act as a role model.
• Uphold company policies, maintain a professional appearance and protect confidential information.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs and ensure a high standard of service.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales, guest services or hospitality environment.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 10 lb without assistance.
