Security Operations Analyst – CSOC

About the role

The Security Operations Analyst will join Commercial Bank’s Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) to monitor, detect, analyze and respond to cybersecurity incidents. You will protect the bank’s digital assets and ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of its information systems.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor security events, alerts and CSOC dashboards to identify anomalous patterns.
• Respond promptly to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and manage incident documentation.
• Gather actionable intelligence on threats and prepare daily, weekly and monthly KRI reports.
• Create and fine‑tune use‑cases and alerts within the CSOC monitoring environment.
• Perform health checks on CSOC tools, ensuring all hosts generate required security logs.
• Support the configuration of security controls such as SIEM, anti‑virus, network security devices, PAM, DLP and vulnerability management solutions.
• Develop security awareness communications and participate in cyber drills and CSOC exercises.
• Identify critical items for senior management, conduct exception reviews and assist with audit remediation.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in information security and incident response.
• Ability to analyse security data, produce clear reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center or similar environment.
