Senior Cloud Consulting Architect

About the role

Red Hat Consulting is seeking a Senior Cloud Consulting Architect to join the team in Qatar. As a subject‑matter expert you will guide customers on Red Hat infrastructure and cloud best practices, lead on‑site delivery, and shape architecture decisions that drive automation, reliability, scalability and high availability.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery, analysis and design workshops to influence customer use cases and architecture decisions.
• Design and scope delivery projects, leading consulting teams through pilot and production deployments.
• Create and deliver content that enables pre‑sales, consulting and support teams to sell Red Hat solutions at scale.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, consulting, support and sales to ensure a world‑class customer experience.
• Develop repeatable methodologies, tools and processes to reduce delivery risk.
• Produce white papers, webinars and present at industry conferences as a thought leader.

Required profile

• Strong background with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (command‑line, network configuration).
• Hands‑on experience with containers, container management tools and Quay.
• Proficiency in package management and Red Hat Satellite.
• Deep knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Architecture expertise in datacenter infrastructure (networking, compute, storage).
• Experience designing and implementing network/datacenter solutions.
