Senior Litigation Associate – Doha

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our Litigation team in Doha. The role involves handling contentious and pre‑contentious matters, providing strategic legal advice, and developing client relationships within a leading legal practice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple contentious matters independently, drafting pleadings, briefs, statements, settlement agreements and other legal documents.
• Prepare legal advice, strategies and memoranda, delivering commercially focused solutions.
• Represent clients in meetings, negotiations, proceedings and other dispute‑related activities.
• Lead and supervise associates, trainees, legal researchers and paralegals to ensure high‑quality output.
• Develop client relationships, contribute to business development, and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of litigation experience in a law firm or legal practice.
• Extensive Middle East experience, preferably with exposure to GCC courts.
• Demonstrable advocacy skills across both pre‑contentious and contentious matters.
• Native Arabic speaker with strong written and verbal English communication.
• Proven leadership and management experience, capable of supervising junior lawyers and handling competing priorities under pressure.
