Siebel Open UI Specialist

About the role

The Siebel Open UI Specialist will drive the design, development and delivery of new products and services on Oracle Siebel Open UI, Mass Market and EBU CRM platforms. Working within an Agile environment, the specialist will lead both internal Vodafone and third‑party development resources to ensure high‑quality, on‑time releases.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, design and implement new features across multiple releases of Siebel Open UI.
• Lead and coordinate development teams, assign PBIs and monitor progress.
• Conduct requirement assessments for Open UI impacts on business projects.
• Ensure adherence to industry best practices and domain design guidance.
• Prepare RFCs and change requests in line with Service Management SLAs.
• Collaborate with Scrum Master and Product Manager for sprint and deployment planning.
• Train new team members on the technical framework and functionalities.
• Support testing teams and business product managers throughout release testing.
• Create deployment guides, raise RFCs and assist with production deployments.
• Report risks and issues to the CRM Domain Manager and support operations in live‑environment incident analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent.
• 7‑10 years of product and solution development experience in telecommunications or a technology vendor with a telecom focus.
• Completion of the Siebel Open UI Foundation Course.
• Strong knowledge of Siebel Open UI architecture, manifest handling and presentation models.
