System Test Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced System Test Manager to lead our testing team and ensure the delivery of high‑quality software products. The role involves planning, coordinating and overseeing all testing activities while supporting night and after‑office hour testing when required.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans and processes aligned with project requirements and business objectives.
• Lead, mentor and manage a team of testers to ensure high productivity, quality and motivation.
• Collaborate closely with project manager, software manager and stakeholders to clarify requirements and define testing scope.
• Oversee test execution across functional, regression, integration, performance and user acceptance testing phases.
• Define, monitor and report key testing metrics, providing regular updates on progress, quality and risks to senior management.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks related to software releases and deployments.
• Manage test environments, tools and automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a minimum of 10 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience leading end‑to‑end testing for large‑scale projects in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Experience in transport/traffic management domain is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
• Automation tools including Selenium and UFT.
• Defect tracking systems.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
