Tax Associate – Graduate Program

About the role

As a Tax Associate in EY’s Tax Graduate Program, you will support local and international businesses in managing their tax reporting, compliance and planning. Based in Doha, you will work alongside senior tax professionals, gaining exposure to a diverse client portfolio while progressing toward a tax advisory career.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns and compliance documentation for a range of corporate clients.
• Assist in tax planning projects, identifying opportunities to optimise tax positions.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues to deliver high‑quality tax advice and solutions.
• Conduct research on tax regulations and stay updated on legislative changes.
• Support client engagements by gathering data, performing analyses and presenting findings.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (within 18 months) with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law or a related field that included tax coursework.
• Middle‑Eastern nationality (excluding Egyptians, Lebanese, Syrian, Palestinian, Libyan, Iranian, Sudanese) unless holding a Qatar residency or sponsorship.
• Strong analytical mindset, commercial acumen and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
