Training Cell Team Leader

About the role

The Training Cell Team Leader reports to the Forward Maintenance Manager and is responsible for designing, updating and maintaining the tools that identify training needs and record completed training for maintenance personnel. The role supports staff at all levels to navigate available training media, ensuring compliance and competency across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Update training materials to reflect system changes, upgrades and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain training schedules and delivery programmes in line with the Maintenance Training Team Lead’s directives.
• Support the development of bespoke training courses, either by producing content internally or coordinating with external providers.
• Deliver induction, continuation, manual handling, working at height and SHE briefings as required.
• Maintain accurate training records to demonstrate competency and currency to regulatory authorities.
• Liaise with external agencies to arrange refresher courses and specialised training.
• Collect feedback from course attendees, analyse trends and implement improvements.
• Assist the training department during holidays, delivering human factors and other regulatory courses.

Required profile

• Experience in aviation maintenance training or a similar regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, safety management systems and continuing airworthiness assurance.
• Ability to work closely with maintenance managers, engineers and external training providers.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a focus on compliance documentation.
