Treasury Manager – Debt & Exposure Management

About the role

The Treasury Manager – Debt & Exposure Management will support the Treasury Director in overseeing debt and equity financing, liquidity risk, and counter‑party risk across the organization. This senior position is based in Qatar and focuses on managing interest‑rate, foreign‑exchange, and credit exposures while ensuring accurate cash‑flow forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage group banking relationships for debt and equity funding in line with policies.
• Assess and mitigate financial risks, including interest‑rate, FX, and credit risk, using hedging strategies.
• Coordinate with lenders and legal counsel on LMA documentation for debt facilities.
• Monitor market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to anticipate impacts.
• Support senior management on risk assessments, investment strategies, and capital allocation.
• Assist the Treasury Director and CFO with balance‑sheet capital structuring and leverage ratio analysis.
• Conduct covenant analysis and develop remediation structures for group debt.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in a tier‑1 bank or corporation; GCC experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or economics.
• Mandatory professional qualification: MBA, CFA, CMA, ACA or ACCA.
• Proven expertise in financial risk management, capital structuring, and debt/equity instruments such as Sukuk, private placements, syndications, bonds, and IPOs.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for listed companies, including KYC and AML.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• ERP experience, preferably SAP.
