TS Systems Engineer

About the role

The TS Systems Engineer will maintain and support Qatar Airways' network infrastructure services. The role ensures that all network systems and applications are designed, configured, and operated in line with corporate IT standards, delivering high availability, resilience, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, integrate, and optimise enterprise Network Access Control (NAC) and identity‑based security services.
• Manage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1X, and guest access solutions.
• Develop context‑aware access policies using endpoint profiling, device intelligence, and dynamic authorisation.
• Implement RBAC, Security Group Tags (SGTs) and Cisco TrustSec to support Zero Trust and Software‑Defined Access (SDA) architectures.
• Integrate and operate Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE and wireless infrastructure for automated policy enforcement and micro‑segmentation.
• Maintain firewall and VPN infrastructures, including NAT, site‑to‑site VPN, and remote‑access solutions.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for network faults and performance issues.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes for standardised service delivery.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with Cisco ISE and firewall security technologies.
• Strong background in designing, deploying and supporting enterprise NAC and identity‑based security services.
• Experience with Zero Trust, SDA and software‑defined networking concepts.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to deliver secure infrastructure solutions.
