Waiter / Waitress – Luxury Hotel & Upscale Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking a professional Waiter/Waitress to join our team in a luxury hotel and upscale restaurant setting. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional, personalized service that aligns with our brand standards and creates memorable dining experiences for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests, present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverages following established service sequences.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, beverages, promotions, and special offerings to provide accurate recommendations.
• Promote and upsell food and beverage items in a natural, guest‑focused manner.
• Handle guest comments, concerns, and inquiries courteously, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
• Accurately process orders and payments using the Micros/POS system and perform cashiering duties when required.
• Ensure tables are set, cleared, and reset according to brand standards and maintain cleanliness of the service area.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to support overall hotel success and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or qualification in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Tourism Management, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance, excellent grooming, and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work various shifts based on operational needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Micros POS system or a similar point‑of‑sale platform.
