Assistant Manager – Consultative Sales (UAE/Qatar)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Consultative Sales will drive pre‑sales activities and project execution for rugged computing solutions across key accounts in the UAE and Qatar. You will act as a technical liaison, helping customers understand the value and lower total cost of ownership of rugged devices.

Key responsibilities

• Identify application areas for rugged computers within assigned key accounts.
• Conduct trials with stakeholders to validate solution viability.
• Collaborate with client finance and commercial teams to demonstrate long‑term cost benefits.
• Manage procurement interactions, prepare budgetary and final quotes, negotiate (with supervisor) and close sales.
• Prepare tender technical and commercial compliance documents and submit bids.
• Coordinate internal delivery, oversee product installation, training and acceptance.
• Follow up with commercial department to ensure timely invoicing and payment.
• Generate forecasts, pipeline reports and other required sales documentation.
• Provide pre‑sales and post‑sales technical support to clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Communications or related).
• 2–5 years of experience in sales or technical pre‑sales roles.
• Fluent English; Arabic knowledge strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work long hours and weekends to meet targets.
• Self‑starter attitude with strong ambition.

Required skills

• Computer hardware knowledge and basic troubleshooting ability.
• Understanding of operating systems and system software.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of communications and data networking.
