Business Finance Specialist – Tech & Product

About the role

As a Business Finance Specialist for Tech & Product, you will act as the finance co‑pilot to the General Manager, partnering with technology, product, R&D and other functions to shape strategic decisions and drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Tech, Product and R&D leadership on financial planning and strategic decision‑making.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, reporting and variance analysis for technology functions.
• Develop business cases, ROI models and investment scenarios for product and technology initiatives.
• Manage software capitalization and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Support financial modeling for new vertical launches and strategic projects.
• Improve reporting, analytics and cost visibility through automation and BI collaboration.

Required profile

• 5‑8+ years of experience in FP&A, Business Finance or Strategic Finance.
• Experience supporting Tech, Product or R&D organizations.
• Knowledge of software capitalization and accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP/planning tools; familiarity with BI tools is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Advanced financial modeling and Excel proficiency.
