Head of Sales – Electro Trade Department

About the role

The Head of Sales for the Electro Trade Department will lead the Sales & Marketing function to drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability and market expansion in Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the sales and marketing strategy, set annual business plans, budgets, targets and KPIs.
• Lead trade and project sales teams, monitor performance, pipeline, forecasting and pricing strategies.
• Drive marketing initiatives, exhibitions, customer events and build strategic partnerships with suppliers and distributors.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensure high satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Estimation, Procurement, Finance, Operations) to ensure timely delivery and inventory optimization.
• Oversee financial controls, credit approvals, collections and cash‑flow performance.
• Recruit, mentor and develop a high‑performing sales team, establish KPIs and succession planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive knowledge of the Qatar market, especially traders, MEP contractors and main contractors.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; Urdu language skills are a plus.
• Proven track record in sales leadership, market expansion and team development.
