Events Executive

About the role

The Events Executive will support the coordination and execution of banquet and special events at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Doha. Working closely with the group coordinator/host, you will ensure all guest requirements are captured and delivered to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Meet the group coordinator/host before functions to introduce and confirm arrangements.
• Read and analyse banquet event orders to gather guest information, set‑up requirements, timelines, and special needs such as buffets or action stations.
• Respond to and fulfil special banquet event requests, following up to ensure compliance.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and provide courteous assistance.
• Maintain uniform and personal appearance, uphold safety and security policies, and report any incidents.
• Communicate clearly with team members and guests, answer telephone calls using proper etiquette.
• Perform physical duties including standing, walking, lifting objects up to 25 lb, and navigating various work environments.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant experience in hospitality or event services.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site and follow company policies.
