F&B Service Expert – Executive Lounge

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Service Expert to join the Executive Lounge team at our Marriott hotel in Doha. You will help create memorable dining experiences by delivering attentive service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and supporting seamless communication between guests and the kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Set and clear tables, arrange settings and ensure the lounge is ready for service.
• Take guest orders, serve food and beverages, and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Communicate orders and special requests accurately to the kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, replenish supplies, and follow health and safety procedures.
• Handle menu information, verify items, and assist guests with menu questions.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb unassisted (50 lb with help), standing, walking, and moving on various surfaces throughout the shift.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and meet the physical demands described.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of food‑and‑beverage service procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret menus accurately.
