Finance & Accounts Executive

About the role

Instant Delivery Services is seeking a detail‑oriented Finance & Accounts Executive to support daily accounting operations in a fast‑paced delivery and logistics environment. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, handling receivables and payables, and preparing regular management reports.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date accounting records, perform daily bookkeeping and general ledger activities.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, prepare invoices, payment records and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile bank accounts, cash transactions and monitor customer and supplier balances.
• Assist with monthly closing, financial statements, budgeting and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Support payroll preparation and verification of employee/rider payments.

Required profile

• Accurate, responsible and analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in accounting or finance, preferably in logistics, delivery or high‑volume operations.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with Operations, HR and management.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.

Required skills

• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, filtering, sorting, reporting).
• Experience with ERP/accounting software such as Tally, Odoo, QuickBooks or Zoho Books.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, general ledger, bank reconciliation and payroll processes.
• Numerical and analytical abilities to identify discrepancies.
