Financial Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our finance team supporting a contracting and construction business. The role will focus on analysing financial performance, preparing budgets and forecasts, and providing insight for project‑level decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial results and variance against budgets for ongoing projects.
• Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and cash‑flow projections.
• Monitor project costs, identify overruns and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the preparation of financial reports for senior management.
• Assist in cost‑control initiatives and contribute to strategic financial planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting or project finance, preferably within the contracting or construction sector.
• Strong understanding of project costing, budgeting, financial reporting and cost control in a construction environment.
