Head of Retail Operations

About the role

The Head of Retail Operations will lead the retail business of QDFC/QDC in Doha, driving sales performance and ensuring the highest level of customer service across the Gulf region. This senior role combines strategic planning, P&L responsibility and day‑to‑day shop‑floor management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the retail strategy, including marketing tactics, visual merchandising and profit‑margin enhancement.
• Lead, coach and motivate sales and merchandising teams to achieve revenue targets and budget goals.
• Oversee stock control, cash security, scheduled stock counts and inventory accuracy.
• Analyse sales data, forecast future volumes and present recommendations to senior management.
• Manage P&L, ensure financial metrics are met and drive quick business wins to increase income.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of relevant retail experience.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and able to work in a cross‑cultural environment.
• Strong knowledge of retail fundamentals such as margins, pricing, merchandising, store logistics and customer‑service standards.
• Proven managerial skills including delegation, performance management and team development.
