Landscape & Irrigation Engineer

About the role

The Landscape & Irrigation Engineer will work on‑site in Doha, designing, planning and supervising landscape and irrigation systems for residential, commercial and infrastructure projects. The role combines creative design, technical calculation and hands‑on supervision to deliver sustainable, high‑quality outdoor environments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed designs, drawings and specifications for landscape layouts, plant selections and irrigation networks.
• Calculate water requirements, select appropriate irrigation equipment and develop efficient irrigation layouts.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor on‑site work for quality, compliance with specifications and environmental standards.
• Conduct inspections, troubleshoot system issues and prepare technical reports.
• Support cost estimation, project scheduling and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong background in landscape design, concept development, layout planning and plant selection.
• Practical experience in irrigation system design, implementation and maintenance, preferably in the Gulf region.
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Excellent organizational, communication and coordination skills for on‑site multidisciplinary teamwork.
