Operations Manager – Restaurant Group

About the role

Ishtar Hospitality, a fast‑growing hospitality management group in Qatar, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day‑to‑day running of its multiple restaurant outlets and to drive new restaurant pre‑opening projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across several restaurant locations, ensuring consistent service quality and adherence to company standards.
• Lead the full pre‑opening process for new restaurants, from planning and staffing to launch and post‑opening stabilization.
• Take operational responsibility for new sites during the pre‑opening phase and support a smooth transition after opening.
• Monitor sales, costs, productivity, P&L and overall outlet performance, preparing regular operational reports for senior management.
• Develop and implement operational procedures, improvement strategies and guest‑experience initiatives.
• Motivate, train and manage restaurant management teams, coordinating with senior leadership on staffing and operational setup.
• Travel between locations as needed to support openings and oversee existing outlets.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience as an Operations Manager in the restaurant or hospitality sector.
• Proven track record of successfully opening new restaurants and managing their operations post‑launch.
• Strong hands‑on experience with the complete pre‑opening process.
• Excellent leadership, communication and analytical abilities.
