People & Culture Welfare Officer

About the role

The People & Culture Welfare Officer enhances the employee experience by planning and coordinating welfare initiatives, engagement activities, accommodation programs, and well‑being projects. The role also supports internal communications, surveys, event logistics and reporting to foster a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and coordinate employee engagement and welfare activities.
• Support implementation of employee well‑being programs and initiatives.
• Coordinate events, celebrations, recognition programs and community activities.
• Conduct accommodation inspections, satisfaction surveys and monitor welfare concerns.
• Design posters, announcements, newsletters and promotional materials using Canva.
• Prepare employee communications for events, campaigns and awareness programs, ensuring brand compliance.
• Maintain welfare records, prepare reports, trackers and dashboards in Microsoft Excel.
• Analyze survey results and provide actionable recommendations to management.
• Coordinate logistics with internal departments and external suppliers for successful event execution.
• Respond to employee welfare inquiries confidentially and provide guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related field.
• Previous experience in HR, employee welfare, employee engagement or hospitality (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management, reporting and dashboard creation.
• Ability to create professional communication materials using Canva.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
