Project Controls Manager – Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

The Project Controls Manager will lead the Project Services team for a major oil and gas project in Doha, ensuring high‑quality, timely delivery of cost, schedule and risk controls.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the contract Project Controls Plan and ensure all staff understand their responsibilities.
• Establish and manage project man‑hour, cost, planning and estimation control systems.
• Prepare client and internal project reports, verify monthly invoices to Qatar Shell GTL and work‑share offices.
• Own the contract Management of Change (MOC) and risk management processes.
• Align project information and data for deliverables, support client assurance and verification work.

Required profile

• BSc in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of oil & gas experience, including 7 years leading a project services team.
• At least 10 years in brown‑field oil & gas project delivery.
• Proven experience in cost control, cost estimating, scheduling and risk management.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary resources and portfolio of projects.
