UPS After‑Sales Engineer / Technician

About the role

The role involves on‑site installation, commissioning, maintenance and emergency support for single‑phase and three‑phase UPS and STS systems at client locations in Doha. You will ensure reliable power supply by performing preventive maintenance and rapid fault resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and execute installation, testing and commissioning of UPS & STS systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, including battery health checks, thermal imaging and firmware updates.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair hardware and software faults on UPS & STS equipment.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdown calls to minimise client downtime.

Required profile

• Associate degree, Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on field experience servicing industrial/commercial UPS systems.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of power electronics and 3‑phase AC distribution.
• Experience with DC battery systems (VRLA and Lithium‑ion) and power quality analyzers.
• Proficiency in thermal imaging, firmware updates and battery health diagnostics.
