Quality Inspector

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Quality Inspector to join its Turbomachinery & Process Solutions team in Doha. You will ensure that gas turbine components, compressors and steam turbine rotors meet strict engineering standards through thorough inspection and testing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complete inspections including receiving, visual, dimensional, PT/UT, and report inspection data.
• Conduct in‑process and final acceptance inspections on gas turbine, centrifugal compressor and steam turbine components.
• Raise NCRs, manage non‑conforming material, and coordinate with production for resolution.
• Prepare inspection reports, hold tags and support root‑cause analysis and CAPA actions.
• Calibrate and maintain measuring instruments and testing equipment in line with BH standards.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering or High School Certificate with relevant experience.
• Minimum five years of inspection experience in a gas turbine repair shop or service organization.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
