Reservations Agent – Guest Services

About the role

The Reservations Agent is responsible for handling all reservation inquiries, changes, and cancellations for our hotel in Doha. You will act as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and professional booking experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or email.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability, and explain rates, guarantees, and cancellation policies.
• Document special requests and input accurate data into the reservation system, including complimentary rooms, employee discounts, and wholesale rates.
• Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue and adhere to escalation procedures for guest concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and uphold professional appearance standards.
• Assist guests with disabilities, provide clear communication, and support team goals.
• Perform light physical tasks such as moving items up to 10 lb.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific certifications needed.
