Resort Receptionist

About the role

The Resort Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests at our Sheraton property on Al Corniche Street in Doha. You will ensure a smooth and welcoming experience by handling reservations, inquiries and administrative tasks with professionalism and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Enter, update and retrieve guest information and reservations using computer databases and point‑of‑sale systems.
• Prepare letters, memos and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including date‑stamping and distribution.
• Maintain both electronic and paper filing systems for records and reports.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries with courteous, professional language.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, assist individuals with disabilities and ensure a clean, professional appearance.
• Follow company policies, protect confidential information and uphold asset security.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 10 lb.
