Restaurant General Manager – Luxury Hotel Dining

About the role

As the Restaurant General Manager you will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the Muru restaurant at Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay, ensuring every guest receives the signature luxury experience of the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Drive exceptional guest experiences and maintain Waldorf Astoria service standards.
• Oversee all restaurant operations, including floor service, kitchen coordination, and facility upkeep.
• Manage financial performance – budgeting, forecasting, labor cost control and revenue optimisation.
• Lead, coach and develop the restaurant team, handling recruitment, training and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Beverage, Marketing and Sales teams to create promotional events and drive business development.
• Maintain compliance with hotel policies, Hilton standards and local regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a restaurant or food‑and‑beverage outlet in a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong focus on guest satisfaction and service recovery.
• Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Leadership skills with a track record of talent development and team engagement.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities with VIP guests and corporate partners.
