Sales Assistant

About the role
The Sales Assistant plays a pivotal role in driving sales and delivering a positive customer experience within Al-Futtaim Retail stores. You will be responsible for generating sales, engaging customers, and supporting daily operational tasks to maintain a welcoming shopping environment.
Key responsibilities
- Generate sales by engaging customers and providing product information.
- Greet customers promptly with a friendly demeanor and thank them on exit.
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment, including fitting rooms and cash‑wrap areas.
- Capture customer data accurately for marketing and follow‑up.
- Offer gift cards, manage cash register operations and upsell where appropriate.
Required profile
- High school diploma (required).
- 1–2 years of retail sales experience preferred.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Illustrator or Photoshop.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
