Sales Engineer – Pressure Management Solutions

About the role

The Sales Engineer will drive sustainable sales growth and expand Emerson’s market presence across Qatar by combining technical expertise with consultative selling. You will act as the key link between customer operational, safety and commercial needs and Emerson’s pressure management portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities in sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power Generation, Cement, Steel and Paper.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering, operations, maintenance and procurement stakeholders.
• Assess customer challenges and recommend appropriate pressure management products, services and solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from quotation to order placement and post‑sale support.
• Collaborate with application engineering, manufacturing and internal sales teams to create optimal technical and commercial proposals.
• Conduct site visits, technical surveys and audits to accurately capture requirements.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and solution proposals.
• Lead commercial and contractual discussions in line with Emerson policies and local regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, opportunities and forecasts in the CRM system.
• Adhere to Emerson’s ethics, health, safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Clear and effective communicator in English, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to build trust‑based relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Proactive, results‑oriented and able to adapt to evolving business needs.
• Willingness to travel throughout Qatar for customer meetings and site activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering or field service related to pressure regulators, safety valves or control valves.
