Senior Manager – Strategic Sourcing, Ground Services

About the role

Qatar Airways is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Ground Services Procurement. You will shape category strategies for ground handling, cargo handling and related equipment, driving value across the Group’s spend.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for all ground services procurement.
• Lead a team of Category Managers to deliver sourcing projects and negotiate large‑scale contracts.
• Conduct market research, benchmarking and supplier trend analysis to inform sourcing decisions.
• Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships, influencing priorities and ensuring policy compliance.
• Define strategic supplier relationship management processes to improve performance and innovation.
• Embed sustainability criteria into procurement projects and track savings, cost avoidance and transformational outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within aviation or a related industry.
• Strong ability to influence senior leaders and manage cross‑functional negotiation teams.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on delivering measurable value.
• Commitment to integrity, transparency and commercial rigor.
