About the role
Kitopi is looking for a motivated Sous Chef to lead a section of its central kitchen. You will ensure food quality, consistency, and safety while supporting purchasing, stock rotation, and labeling activities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage stock levels, ordering, and portion controls.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, guaranteeing high standards of taste, texture, and presentation.
- Lead and direct kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes.
- Maintain proper storage, minimize waste, and ensure food safety compliance.
- Ensure the kitchen meets health and safety regulations.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of one or more cuisines, especially Italian and Indian, with familiarity in Lebanese, Mexican, Bakery, Oriental, International, and Butchery.
- Excellent communication and management abilities.
- Experience in both hot and cold kitchen sections is ideal.
