Sushi Commis Chef

About the role

Kitopi is looking for a motivated Sushi Commis Chef to join one of its satellite kitchens. You will prepare a variety of sushi items—including maki, nigiri, and sashimi—while adhering to brand standards and ensuring every order meets the highest quality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare sushi using cooked and raw fish, fruits, and vegetables according to recipes.
• Maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency across all food orders.
• Follow food safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with teammates to set up the kitchen for success.
• Uphold Kitopi and brand-specific standards in a fast‑moving, high‑energy environment.

Required profile

• Punctual, detail‑oriented, friendly, reliable and honest.
• Neat appearance and strict adherence to food safety guidelines.
• Thrives under pressure and works well within diverse teams.
• Previous experience as a Sushi Chef is mandatory; quick‑service restaurant background is a plus.
• Committed to maintaining high product quality and cleanliness.
